Help build our future restaurant and hospitality workforce

Welcome to Food in Fashion 2019

Join us for Food in Fashion at The Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas, Monday, March 18, 2019. Ticket information is available here.

Presented by volunteers from the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association and Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation, Food in Fashion features VIP receptions, silent and live auctions, a remarkable food‑infused fashion show, sizzling music, and more. This is the third year for the event.

Proceeds from Food in Fashion benefit career-development programs in the restaurant and hospitality industries. The need for a skilled restaurant and hospitality workforce is great in North Texas.

Donnie Brown A highlight of the evening will be a fashion show showcasing 15 delicious fashions created by 15 fashion designers in partnership with 15 restaurants.

Our show's emcee will be Donnie Brown, one of the leading wedding and event planners in the industry. For 11 seasons Donnie starred in "Whose Wedding is it Anyway" on the Style Network.

Food in Fashion music will be provided by Durty Laundry and DJ Mr Koda.

Another highlight of the evening will be the Ben E. Keith Culinary Competition where 15 student culinary teams from North Texas present sweet and savory appetizers they have prepared for Food in Fashion guests. Before being devoured by event attenders, three Dallas-area chefs will judge the food preparation and presentation. Additional appetizers and beverages for our guests are donated by our sponsors.

Food in Fashion also features a silent and live auction for all our guests and the post-fashion show la Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe Reception for our sponsors, VIP ticketholders, designers, and volunteer models.

Please join us Monday, March 18, and help us make a difference on our industry and in the professional careers of students and adults. Ticket information is available here.

Food in Fashion will be presented by the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association, Monday, Mar. 18, 2019, at The Joule, Dallas.
