Eight teams from Dallas ISD ProStart programs will compete in a friendly cooking competition, preparing appetizers for you to sample. You determine who wins the FreshPoint Cup.

When you arrive at Food in Fashion, you will first be greeted by the aroma of appetizers prepared by students in Dallas ISD ProStart programs. Assisting our student chefs are members of the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees.

ProStart is a two-year career and technical education program that focuses on teaching culinary arts and restaurant management skills.

In Texas, ProStart is supported by the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. The TRAEF is the beneficiary of proceeds from Food in Fashion

Here are the eight Dallas ISD High Schools that are fielding ProStart student teams for the FreshPoint Culinary Competition.  As determined by Food in Fashion guests, the winning ProStart team will be presented the FreshPoint Cup.
