Help build our future restaurant and hospitality workforce

Meet our 2020 Ben E. Keith Culinary Competition Teams

At the heart of Food in Fashion is its showcase of student culinary teams during our Ben E. Keith Culinary Competition.

Most of the North Texas high school teams listed below are in the ProStart program. Supported by the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation, ProStart gives public high school students the opportunity to learn about the art of cooking and managing restaurants. While training with professional chefs and getting valuable classroom instruction, ProStart students can also earn college credit—and make a little money!

Between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in The Manor, the appetizers prepared by these teams may be sampled by Food in Fashion guests as they also bid on silent auction items.
